The Team game is over with the final two teams electing to chop the prize pool. Team Huang took the official win with Team Brotherwood runner-up. Team Sidhu were 3rd tonight with Team Windover taking the min- cash spot.
There was just a massive hand on the Team table, with Team Brotherwood getting a double. Team Sidhu was on pocket sevens against ace-seven for Brotherwood. The flop had an ace and a seven on it, with the turn hitting another ace giving both teams the boat, but Brotherwood the biggest one and the double to survive.
They are in the money in the Team event now. Below is a look at the cashing teams tonight.
They are down to 5 teams left in the Tag Team now, one off the money spots. The remaining teams are Team Windover, Team Meady, Team Huang, Team Sidhu, and Team Brotherwood.
The team game is down to the final table of 9 teams now with Level 13 just underway. They are still five eliminations off the money, though, so there's a fair bit of poker to play before anyone gets paid.
The numbers are in for the Tag Team event and the field topped out at 40 entries tonight. There are 21 teams still in action competing for $7,600 to be divided four ways. The winners tonight will share $3,270 and the rest of the prizes will be under the Payouts tab shortly.
The Team game is now underway with action in Level 2 and 23 entries on the board. As expected, it's a bit of a party atmosphere in the room and everyone is having a lot of fun. Entries are open until about 9:35, so lots of time yet to get into the fun and games.
Event #10: $230 Tag Team ($200 + $30)
Apr 13 - 7 PM
Starting Stack: 20k
Blinds: 20 Min
Late Entry: 7 Levels (~9:35 PM)
The evening side event on deck for Saturday may well be the most fun event on the whole schedule, the Tag Team game is generally more of a drinking party with a bit of poker on the side. Expect the room to be loud tonight.
The team action kicks off at 7 PM with 20k starting stacks and 20-minute blinds. Teams consist of two players and players swap out every blind level. As an added twist this time around, the "Switch tickets" have some extra juice - not only can you play a Switch to switch out your own team, you can use one to force any other team on the table to make the switch as well, though switches will only occur between hands.
Teams will have seven levels to enter the game or rebuy tonight, putting the final chance to enter around 9:35 PM. This promises to be a raucous affair tonight, so find a friend and come join the drinking party with a bit of poker on the side. And even if you can't find a friend, check in at the front desk and they'll maintain a list of players looking for partners. No doubt impromptu terms can be formed on the spot.
