The Tag Team game is complete and it was Team Lothian who emerged victorious tonight. I left early tonight so I'm not 100% sure on the final results for the rest of the cashing positions, but I will update the full payouts tomorrow.
The Tag Team game is down to 6 teams left now, two off the money spots. Team Takafuji, Team Le, Team Nitafan, Team Scriba, Team Lothian, and Team Pring are still in the mix for the money.
The team even is down to the final table of nine teams now with Level 15 about to start. Teams still in the game are Team Quijano, Team Takafuji, Team Le, Team Nitafan, Team Scriba, Team Wilson, Team Lothian, Team Pring, and Team Grabia.
The prizes are in for the Team event and the winning team will pocket just shy of $3k at the end of the night. There are 12 teams still in action and full payouts are listed under the Payouts tab.
The final tally for the team event tonight came to 36 total entries with 16 teams still in action with about half of Level 9 complete. That should mean 4 places paid later tonight, but I'm still waiting for the payouts to be published for the full payouts.
Event #5: | $230 Tag Team with Swith Tickets ($200 + $30) |
Date: | Sep 21, 2024, 6:30 pm |
Start Stack: | 20,000 |
Blinds: | 20 Minutes |
Late Entry: | 7 Levels (~9:05 pm) |
The side event for Saturday is the Tag Team game which is generally more about the partying than it is about the poker. The action will kick off at 6:30 pm with two-player teams sitting down with 20k in chips for 20-minute levels.
Teams will alternate players every round, but each team gets five switch tickets to start the game and can use the tickets to either swap out their own team member during a round or force another team at their table to switch. I likely won't be following this one too closely tonight until the endgame as I'll mostly be watching Day 1b of the Mystery Bounty. However, I think the Team will run in Pearl as well, so I should be able to keep up to date with numbers.
