Peter Darlington Wins 4-Flight for $58,815 Posted Monday 6th May, 2024 at 01:01(UTC-7) by Lyle Bateman

It was quite a rollercoaster ride for Peter Darlington today. He was chip leader a few times, and short stack a few times as well but he always managed to stay alive.

Darlington had just over $50k USD in winnings going into the game today so this is certainly his biggest cash. It was his fourth win on the live felt, and while it probably won't quite push him over $100k on Hendon, he'll be very close.

Mal Hagan Out in 2nd Place for $36,351 Posted Monday 6th May, 2024 at 00:54(UTC-7) by Lyle Bateman

Mal Hagan had a steep hill to climb tonight heads up against Peter Darlington. He was at a chip deficit the whole way, though he managed to chip up to 2:1 down a couple of times.

The final hand saw both players limp to a flop of where Mal Hagan check-called for 300k. The came on the turn and Hagan checked again, but this time shoved over the 600k bet from Darlington.

Darlington snapped it off and had two pair with against Hagan's for top pair. The was a brick and Hagan had to settle for second tonight.

Hagan Doubles Posted Monday 6th May, 2024 at 00:06(UTC-7) by Lyle Bateman

Mal Hagan just got a double back to about 7 million again after getting chipped down to under 3 million. He raised to 550k and Peter Darlington called to see on the flop. They both checked to the turn where Darlington shoved.

Hagan took a second before calling off for his tournament life. His ace-king was ahead of jack-five for Darlington and he hit a king on the river just for good measure.

Hagan Doubles Posted Sunday 5th May, 2024 at 23:16(UTC-7) by Lyle Bateman

Mal Hagan was short after the break after getting into a huge hand with Peter Darlington just before the break. He got one shove through with no resistance, but a few hands later he shoved his bog blind over a raise from Chase Cromwell. Cromwell called for essentially a race between ace-jack for Hagan and king-queen for Cromwell. The board missed both so the ace held and Hagan doubled up to about 2.5 million.

Skytrain bet 350k which Jooce called before Hagan put in the raise to 1.1 million. Huang folded quickly, and Jooce followed suit after a bit more time.

Terry Langdon Out in 8th Place for $6,646 Posted Sunday 5th May, 2024 at 21:01(UTC-7) by Lyle Bateman

They are down to 7 left now after Terry Langdon hit the rail in a cooler. He'd been nursing a short stack for a while and finally looked down at ace-queen under the gun. He shoved, but Tang Jooce, two to his left, woke up with ace-king and reshoved.

The rest of the table got out of the way, and Langdon was drawing thin. The flop of gave them both Broadway draws, reversing their outs, but the rest of the board bricked out and Langdon was forced to settle for 8th place.
