The heads-up part of the game went very fast with the entire thing over in just a few hands. The big spot came when Phillip Louie tank-called a 5-bet shove from Stephen "The Noodle" Nahm with pocket tens, leaving Nahm drawing to an ace. He missed and the tens held, giving Louie a huge lead. Just a couple of hands later, he slow-played a pair of queens to s flopped set, and was a huge favorite when the money went in on the turn with Nahm on draws. Louie's set rivered a boat to take it down in dominating fashion.
While the rest of the final table was a bit of a marathon tonight, the final two sprinted to the finish. In the first hand of heads up, Stephen Nahm 5-bet shoved ace-ten and Phillip Louie tank-called with pocket tens. The tens held and that gave Louie a huge lead with the double.
Just a couple of hands later, Louie slow-played a pair of queens to a flopped set. There was a bet and a call on the flop, but the money went in when a ten hit the turn. Nahm was drawing thin with against the set. He had a gutshot, but the ten paired on the river to brick his draw and give Louie the boat.

Leo Zhang will have to wait for another day to win his second ring. He's been nursing a short stack now for more than a level, and he finally shoved 765k with a suited queen. Phillip Louie called it off and it was for Zhang against
for Louie. The
board missed both players so the ace-high took it down.
That leaves Louie heads-up against Stephen 'The Noodle" Nahm with both players roughly even.

Leo Zhang raised the button to 225k and Phillip Louie called on the big blind. Louie check-raised the flop from 175k to 525. Zhang called to the
river but mucked when Louie bet 3 million, enough to put Zhang all in.
Phillip Louie raised to 200k from the button and Stephen 'The Noodle" Nahm called from the big blind. The Noodle checked the flop of , then called a bet of 150k from Louie.
Nahm check-called again for 425k on the turn and for 550k on the
river. Louie showed down pocket aces and The Noodle mucked his hand. I was informed of "The Noodle" nickname for Nahm at the last break by his friend and rail Arif Dhalla.
This was going to be the scheduled dinner break, but the remaining players have decided to cancel that and just have a 15-minute break before coming back to finish it out. "Laurence" Phillip Louie has the big lead right now with more than 10 million, while Leo Zhang is on the shorty.

Action was on the turn reading [tc8h4c9h and after a check from big blind Stephen Nahm, "Laurence" Louie shoved 3.31 million into an already massive pot. Nahm was in the tank for several minutes before finally letting it go, and Louie took over the lead.
On the next hand, Gail Flaherty, who has gotten short, shoved for a bit more than 500k over an open from Leo Zhang. He called and it was pair over pair with Flaherty on jacks and Zhang on threes. Both players flopped a set on so Flaherty doubled with the best set.
I arrived at the table with action on the turn and the board reading . Small blind Gail Flaherty checked before big blind Stephen Nahm bet 125k. Button David Kang tossed out a 500k plaque for a raise, sending Flaherty's cards to the muck, but Nahm shoved a covering stack.
Kang hit the tank for a few minutes before finally tossing in the call to put himself at risk. He was on top pair with but Nahm flopped the big blind special with
for two pair. The
river was a brick for Kang, and he was off to collect 5th place money. The hand gives Nahm a huge lead now 4 ways.

It was a big preflop confrontation when David Kang raised to 325k and Gail Flaherty raised all-in from his left. Kamg snapped it off with pocket kings against Flaherty's pocket sevens. It doesn't always come seven, as Kang flopped his king for the top set leaving Flaherty drawing to running sevens. She bricked and Kang is closing in on 4 million now after doubling from 1.8 million.
Leo Zhang opend to 125k from the hijack and Gail Flaherty called from the button. Zhang fired 130k on the flop, which Flaherty called to the
turn.
Zhang bet 225k and Flaherty flatted to the river. Zhang check-called for 200k, then quickly mucked when Flaherty rolled over
for the flush and the win.
Lee Clark was trying to fly like Superman to another ring here today, but he just fell short ending in 6th place. I missed the action while I was writing the last post, but even after his recent chip-up, he was still on well less than 10 bigs.

Lee CLark has been nursing fumes for a while now, and he managed to get a 75% chip up when he raised to 180k from the cutoff, leaving just 25k behind, and everyone folded to him. He added 150k in blinds and antes to his previous stack of 205k.
In the next hand, Leo Zhang and Stephen Nahm got into it a bit. Nahm raised to 125k preflop and Zhang came along from the button to a flop of Nahm bet 100k, but Zhang came over the top for 250k. Nahm wasn't having it though, and he tossed out 650k, forcing a fold from Zhang. Nahm is the table captain at the moment both in terms of chips and action.
In a couple of FT hands, both Gail Flaherty and Phillip Louie have stacked some chips. In the first hand, Louie made it 110k to go and got calls from Flaherty on the button and Lee Clark in the big blind.
They all checked the flop and after a check from Clark, Louie bet 140k on the
turn. Flaherty was the only caller to the
river, but she mucked when Louie fired 500k.
One hand later, Flaherty limp-called from the hijack after Stephen Nahm made it 150k from the cutoff. Flaherty switched gears and led for 500k on the flop and it didn't take Nahm long to get out of her way.
Level 24 is about to start.
Caleb Simmons came into today as the chip leader, and he was able to hold that spot for a bit, but ultimately, he ended his run in 7th place tonight after a big 4-way hand. Simmons opened the middle to 100k, and got calls from Gail Flaherty on the button, as well as Stephen Nahm in the small and Lee Clark in the big.
The flop is when it all kicked off. It checked to Simmons who fired 210k, which Flaherty called before Nahm raised it up to 800k, Clark got out of the way before Simmons shoved 1.565 million sending Falherty's cards to the muck.
Caleb Simmons:
Stephen Nahm:
Simmons was on top pair, second kicker, but Nahm was on second pair and had massive draws to straights and flushes. The turn did nothing, but the
river sealed the deal for Nahm and sent Simmons packing in 7th.

Phillip Louie, who I originally misidentified yesterday as his brother Laurence, raised it up to 85k from the middle and got two callers from Gail Flaherty on the button and big blind Stephen Nahm. It checked to Louie on the flop and he fired 105k.
Only Flaherty called to the river, but she mucked when Louie fired 150k. Before the hand, Louie joked that I should keep calling him Laurence as it would be "funny."
In the first hand, Leo Zhang raised to 90k before mucking his hand after Stephen Nahm raised it up to 300k. On the following hand, Michael Malm raised the button to 135k but also had to muck after big blind Lee Clark, who has traded in his ring-winning "Funcle" T-Shirt for a Superman cap this time around, shoved for about 500k.
