I didn't have any time to watch the Last Chance Turbo last night but apparently, that was my loss as Ian Pettifer demonstrated that, clearly, turbos are his game. Earlier in the series, Pettifer took first place in a chop of Event #9 $230 Turbo Bounty when he and Rob Lothian decided to smooth out the top prizes.
Last night, he took down his second turbo game of the series as he was the last player standing at the end of the Last Chance Turbo. Leo Sibenga was second and he had a pretty decent series this time as well after taking 4th place in the NLH/PLO mix earlier in the week.
The Last CHance Turbo entries closed with 91 total entries and there are now 32 players left in the game. There will be nine players sharing in $17,290 in prizes later tonight with the winner set to pocket $4,700.

Event #14: $340 Last Chance Turbo ($300 + $40)
Feb 25 - 5 pm
Blinds: 20 Min
Start Stack: 20,000
Late Entry: 9 Levels (~8:30 pm)
The Last Chance Turbo, as the name suggests, is the final chance to bag a trophy in the PPT #1 2024. Technically, there will be two trophies awarded tomorrow, and the High Roller is open for entries until the start of Day 2, but Event #14 is the final game on the schedule for this series.
The action kicks off at 5 pm with players stacking up 20k to start. They'll be able to enter or reenter for 9 levels, with the final chance to buy in coming at about 8:30 pm tonight. After that, it'll be a race to the finish as they expect to crown a winner before the dealing stops.
I likely won't have any bandwidth for this game today as I'll be focused on Day 2 of the Main as my first priority and the High Roller as my 2nd. I likely won't stay until the end of the game either as I need to be back for noon tomorrow for the final table of the Main, but I'll get all the results sorted out on Monday and get them published.
