Sometimes, between tournaments, the greatest escapes are the simplest pleasures. It can be a couple of hours of quiet time, a couple of hours with some music or even a couple hours talking uninterrupted with a friend our two. Now a couple of WPT stops on either side of the ‘pond’ give you the opportunity to try one of those things between events, all you need to do is jump in a car and hit the open road for a couple of hours!
If you are headed to Atlantic City to play the WPT Borgata Poker Open, which has a $3,500 Main Event running from September 20th to 25th, then you need to know it runs back to back with WPT Maryland Live! Which has Day 1A of their Main Event on September 25th. The good news is that hitting the highway means you can travel between the two in less that 3 hours, giving you that time to reflect, listen to some tunes or ride share and talk with friends.
In Europe, if you are going to the WPT National in Valkenburg, Netherlands on the 1st or 2nd of October, then you can do the same thing as you head cross country at the end of the event to Brussels in Belgium for the Bwin.be WPT National Brussels. To make the most the visit, WPT Travel recommend flying into Amsterdam a couple of days before WPT National Valkenburg to take in the unique flavors of this amazing city before driving to the tournament, which is less than three hours away.
