The Turbo game live up to its name, finishing in less than 9 hours. Sam Mason took down the big prize and the trophy, while Brandyn Delisle-Villard was second and Ryan Comely was third.
Full payouts under the Payouts tab.
The Turbo is down to three left, but I'm still in the other room watching the final table of the seniors. I have eyes on most of the players to get paid so far today, though a few aren't listed in the payouts yet. Prizes to date will be updated in the Payouts tab shortly.
The Turbo Side game is down to 40 players left now with Level 13 about to begin.
The prizes are set and the winner is set to pocket $6,836 later tonight. The field is confirmed at 134 entries for prizes of $25,460, which means that 14 players will get some piece of that.

Entries are now closed with 134 unofficial entries on the board and 104 players still alive. That puts the prizes at $25,460 pending the final prize pool calculation.
Among the players I've spotted in this one on just the few tables in Social are Ryan Comely, Tiny Nguyen, Bash Ramahi, Tyler Foran, Nadav Bitton, DJ Shara, Maddy Sharma, Gerald Chung, Leo Brouwer, Weston Pring, and Maru Somers.
The prizes are just over $23k as players on the break before the end of entries. There are 122 entries on the board to start the break (coincidentally the same number as the final Seniors tally) but that will likely increase a bit still.
Level 6 has just begun with the field up to 114 entries now for prizes of $21,600. Entries on this game will close in about 30 minutes when the clock starts for Level 7.
There are just under 10 minutes to play in Level 5 with the field up wot 111 and prizes of more than $20k There are now a couple of tables for the Turbo in amongst the Seniors in the Social room, but most of this one is still playing in Poker.
They are up to 90 entries in Event #2 now with just over an hour to go in entries. The prizes are just over $17k now but I expect another 10+ entries at least before the entries shut down at the start of Level 7.
The prizes are now just over $16.5k with 87 entries on the board. The game has just overflowed into the Social room, though most of the tables for this one are still over in Poker.
Level 2 is nearly complete with prizes now over $15k and 82 entries on the board. Players can still get into the game for four more levels with the entry desk shutting down in about 90 minutes.
The entries are hot for Event #2 with 56 on the board now and the numbers growing faster than I can keep up - 56 will be inaccurate before I finish this post lol. The prizes capped $10k a few entries ago and are still growing with just under 10 minutes to play in the opening level.
Level 1 is barely underway in Event #2 and the field is sitting at 44 right now for prizes of $8,360. Entries are still open for about two hours, closing when Level 7 begins at about 6:15 pm.
They are about 10 minutes away from cards in the air for Event #2 and the field is already at almost 20. I expect fairly brisk entry and reentry once the action gets going, and likely another10+ entries before play kicks off.
There is nearly a full table of players waiting for the start of Event #2 in just under 30 minutes. Action for Event #2 will be playing out in the Poker Room tonight and I won't be watching it very closely until later in the day,but I'll try to keep up with the numbers at least.
Event: | #2 - $230 NLH ($200 + $30) |
Date: | July 23, 4 pm |
Blinds: | 20 Minutes |
Start Stack: | 20,000 |
Late Entry: | 6 Levels (~6:15 pm) |
The first chance for everyone to play in this 3rd edition of the PPT comes at 4 pm on Tuesday with the $230 NLH. 20-minute blinds and a 20k starting stack will make this one a bit of a turbo. Players have 6 levels to enter the game, with the entry desk closing at the start of Level 7, which should be about 6:15 pm.
My focus will be on the Seniors event at the start of the day, but I will probably make it over to cover the final table of this one at least after the Seniors decide a winner.
