The World Series of Poker® is the largest, longest, and most prestigious gaming event in the world, dating back to 1970.
In 2019, the event attracted 187,298 entrants from 118 different countries awarding more than $293 million in prize money. 2020 WSOP was moved online due to Covid. In 2021, numbers were still affected with 42,241 entries.
However, the 2022 WSOP drew an astonishing 182,662 entrants with the Main Event pulling in 8,663 entrants for a total prize pool of $80,782,475.
The 2024 WSOP is expected to be bigger than ever!
The series will run from May 27 to July 16, with poker’s undisputed world championship, also known as the Main Event beginning on July 2. The Main Event Final Table will occur July 15-16 inside the Horseshoe Events Center.
