The Amateur Poker Association & Tour (APAT) was founded on August 1st, 2006, making it one of the oldest UK national tours.  

Since then, APAT has run multi-day National Amateur Championship poker tournaments in Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, England, Estonia, Ireland, Scotland, Wales and the United States of America.
