The Amateur Poker Association & Tour (APAT) was founded on August 1st, 2006, making it one of the oldest UK National Tours.

Since then, APAT has run multi-day National Amateur Championship poker tournaments in Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, England, Estonia, Ireland, Scotland, Wales and the United States of America.

First live event of 2026 will be the UK Team Championship played at the home of UK Poker, Dusk Till Dawn.

The UK Team Championship is an OPEN event – i.e., open to ANY poker player as part of an organised team, and the weekend supporting events are open to ANY individual player, whether they play in the UK Team Championship or not.
