Eligibility

This giveaway is open to applicants aged 18 years and over.

Employees, contractors, ambassadors, and family members of employees of MainEventTravel.com and The Malta Poker Festival are not eligible to apply; entries and wins found to be as such will be declared null and void.

By entering the giveaway, participants acknowledge and agree to the terms and conditions of Malta Poker Festival, including any age and restrictions applicable to their services.

To be eligible for the giveaway, the winner must create an account with MainEventTravel.com and Malta Poker Festival. Failure to create an account will result in forfeiture of the prize.

Upon attending the Malta Poker Festival, the winner is required to present valid identification (ID) for verification purposes. Failure to provide valid ID may result in forfeiture of the prize or refusal of entry to the venue.

The prize and travel credit are non-transferable, non-refundable, and cannot be exchanged for cash or an alternative. The MainEventTravel.com travel credit will be deposited 48 hours into the winners account after the acceptance of the prize. It can only be used on Pay Now Hotels and flight reservations. If there is unused credit on the account, this can be used towards other Pay Now Hotel bookings or flight reservations and there is no expiry date in use of the credit.

No purchase is necessary to enter.

Entry Method

Participants must do the following for an eligible entry:

• FOLLOW MainEventTravel and Malta Poker Festival on X or FB
• SHARE an Official Giveaway Post from MET's X or FB page
• TAG two poker players in a comment below Official Giveaway Post

 Please make sure your entry meets eligibility:

• FOLLOW both MainEventTravel AND The Malta Poker Festival on Facebook or X. This will be verified following the live drawing.
• SHARE one of the Official Giveaway Posts that is pinned to the top of MET’s Facebook and X pages to your own page. Check your privacy settings, if we can’t see the post, we will not be able to validate your entry.
• Choose one social platform or the other, entries made on both may invalidate your entry. 
• TAG a minimum of two poker players in a comment below the Official Giveaway Post so we know which platform to verify entry via tags are valid only when they are ‘live’ ie highlighted/change colour, failure to do such may invalidate your entry

 One entry can be made per person. You can be tagged in multiple entries.

MET reserves the right to remove an entry from the draw if the post is not on the entrant's social media page at the time of validation and cannot be held responsible for posts that are removed after validation.

Entries that are incomplete, or submitted outside of the specified timeframe will not be accepted.

Any entries deemed to be inappropriate, offensive, or slanderous may be disqualified at managements discretion.

By entering the giveaway, participants agree to abide by these and reasonable terms and conditions and instructions provided by MainEventTravel.com.

Changes & Disruptions

MainEventTravel.com reserves the right to modify the giveaway period at its discretion, in which case the revisions will be communicated via Facebook and X.

Any changes to the giveaway period will be made in accordance with the terms and conditions, and all eligible entries received before any modification may still be considered valid.

In the event of unforeseen circumstances or causes beyond MainEventTravel.com's control, including but not limited to technical issues, force majeure events, or disruptions imposed by a third-party, MainEventTravel.com may, at its discretion:

1. Modify, suspend, or terminate the giveaway without prior notice.
2. Disqualify any entries or participants who violate these terms and conditions or engage in fraudulent or unfair practices.
3. Determine alternative methods for prize allocation or distribution, if applicable.

Giveaway Period

The entry period will end at Midnight on Thursday 15^th August UTC. Entries received after the end date will not be considered.

All times and dates are subject to MainEventTravel.com’s local time zone (UTC aka GMT)

 Prize Winner

The winner will be selected at random from all eligible entries.

The draw will take place on Facebook Live at 15:00 on Monday 19^th August. The winner will be notified via Facebook or X by direct message.

The winner must acknowledge receipt of the notification and accept the prize within 48 hours. If there is no acknowledgment or acceptance within this timeframe, the prize may be deemed invalid, and the promotion made null and void.

The winner agrees to wear a MainEventTravel.com patch prominently during any official events or activities associated with the prize and will be photographed with such.

The MPF VIP Package must be confirmed within 48 hours of acceptance.

 Publicity

By entering, participants agree to participate in any publicity which can include images, news features, social media posts and promotional activities related to the giveaway.

Content provided may be used for promotional purposes.

 Liability

MainEventTravel.com and Event Organisers are not liable for any loss, damage, injury, or other resulting from participation in the giveaway or acceptance of the prize.

Participants indemnify MainEventTravel.com and Event Organisers against any claims, damages, liabilities, or expenses arising out of their breach of terms.

MainEventTravel.com and Event Organisers shall not be liable for any failure to perform its obligations under these terms and conditions where such failure results from any cause beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, natural disasters, war, terrorism, strikes, or governmental restrictions.
