PokerStars announces global Championship and Festival events

POKERSTARS FESTIVAL

Starting with the first PokerStars Championship in the Bahamas (known formerly as the PokerStars Caribbean Adventure) January 6-14, 2017, the tour formally known as the PokerStars.com EPT will be the first of the newly titled PokerStars Championsip. Most stops will last 10-11 days with a €/$5,000 Main Event and a variety of cash games.

More stops in Barcelona, Monte Carlo, Macau, and Panama are already planned, and more will be announced in the coming months and the new tour will offer a 'Player of the Year' leaderboard. Details of the first PokerStars Championship can be found here https://www.maineventtravel.com/tours/tour/86

POKERSTARS FESTIVAL

The PokerStars Festival events will will essentially replace the existing National Tours (think UKIPT, Estrellas etc.). They will last 6-7 days and be geared more for recreational players. Each Festival will have a Main Event with buy-ins ranging from $1,000-$1,500.
