WPTDeepstacks back in Brussels next week

By Mad Harper

WPTDeepstacks is back in Belgium next week with the WPTDeepStacks Brussels festival running November 12-17 at Casino Brussels Viage. The festival features more than a dozen tournaments with buy-ins ranging from €100 to €2,200 – including the WPTDS Brussels Main Event which starts Thursday, November 14.

We are the tour’s Official Travel Partner and have dozens of hotels near Grand Casino Brussels Viage

The WPTDeepStacks Brussels Main Event comes with a player-friendly structure at an affordable €1,200 price point that tempts both professional and recreational players alike. Players begin with 30,000 in tournament chips and there are three Day 1s including a final “Fast Chance” flight with 20-minute levels. One re-entry is allowed per day.

The exciting WPTDeepstacks schedule also includes the €400 buy-in WPTDS Opener starting November 11. This event has unlimited reentries, a 20,000-chip starting stack, and 30-minute levels with two starting flights on November 12 and 13. Also on the schedule are a €2,200 High Roller, €300 Pot Limit Omaha and €100 Ladies Event.

WPTDeepStacks Brussels attracts some of Europe’s top poker talent as well as elite names from across the pond. Former WPT champions Chino Rheem and Mike Mizrachi were among the entrants at WPTDS Brussels in February – with Mizrachi enjoying a deep run in the Main Event to finish in 27th place. The first-place prize of €118,000 went to Mohamed Abdou after battling through the record 584 player-field.  Among those to reach the final table was well-known pros Alexandre Reard and Joris Ruijs as well as Aria WPT500 champion Kyriakos Papadopoulos.

Grand Casino Brussels VIAGE is located in the historical heart of the city and has been home to WPT Europe events for seven consecutive years. The Casino is renowned for its stunning architecture, great facilities and extremely professional staff.

WPTDeepStacks wraps up 2019 with an exotic stop at Nagaworld in Cambodia before heading to Sacramento. The next festival in Europe is WPTDeepstacks Berlin running January 7-13 next year.
