The WPT Fallsview Poker Classic Main Event is kicking off soon at the spectacular Fallsview Casino Resort. The festival, always a popular stop on the World Poker Tour, gets underway next Monday with a $1,100 opening event while the three-day $5,000 Main Event kicks off on Sunday, February 24 with a single start flight. There are also live super satellites running at the casino.

Last year’s winner was Canadian Mike Leah who beat a 517-strong field to win C$451,821. The total prize pool was more than C$2.3 million.
Fallsview Casino Resort, dubbed Canada’s largest and most elegant gaming resort, is built on a cliff overlooking the world-famous Niagara Falls. As well as a gazillion slot machines and table games alongside a luxury hotel and 1,500 seat theatre.
WPT fun continues towards the end of February with the WPT LA Poker Classic at the Commerce Casino. The prestigious $10K buy-in Main Event runs March 2-6 and is set to attract the biggest players in the world. Following that it’s time for WPT Rolling Thunder from March 8-12 before the WPT heads across the pond for WPT Barcelona
