Unibet Deepstack Open tour off to beautiful Saint Amand in France

By Mad Harper

The Unibet Deepstack Open tour is heading to beautiful Saint Amand les Eaux near Lille with a four-day event running April 6-9. With an average 400 players from North of France and Belgium competing at previous editions, UDSO Saint Amand Les Eaux is a lovely and historic spa town, located just 20 minutes away from Lille train station.

Guillaume Poncheral won the last Unibet DSO event in Cannes after beating two-time UDSO champion Alexandre Réard. Poncheral, from Aix en Provence, reached the heads-up battle with Réard with a 6:1 chip lead. His 35,690 first prize was his first recorded live cash.

The Unibet DSO tournament structure – created with the help of international tournament director Matt Savage – offers a unique structure of regular blind increases to keep the action non-stop but giving players enough time to pass bad cards!

Whether you're a recreational player or poker pro, Unibet’s DeepStack Open events offer a wonderful and affordable poker trip. All the destinations have been carefully chosen to make sure they’re easy to get to and hosted in venues offering a highly professional poker environment. The rest of the year’s schedule includes festivals in the popular Spanish resort of Lloret de Mar on the Costa Brava in Spain (June 22-25) and a trip to one of Europe’s liveliest poker destinations, Malta, from July 27-30.
