Roll on EPT Prague – Hotel Lowdown for your December Trip

By Mad Harper

EPT Prague is actually two PokerStars festivals rolled into one – the mid-stakes Eureka Poker Tour and the EPT. The €1,100 Eureka Main Event gets underway on December 7 with the EPT Main Event kicking off four days later on December 11. The two-festival combo has been a mainstay of both the Eureka and EPT calendars for over a decade and gives players of all kinds the chance to join the action in the Czech capital. There are 60 different tourneys on the schedule including the €2,200 Eureka High Roller, €440 Eureka Cup, €10,300 EPT High Roller & €50k Super High Roller plus the €3k EPT Mystery Bounty.

Prague is a supremely affordable location with a ton of great accommodation options within easy walking distance of the riverside EPT venue. The best places to stay are hotels which lie between the city centre and the venue – so you can take advantage of Prague’s fantastic offering of bars, restaurants, clubs and sightseeing attractions as well as play poker.

MainEventTravel rates Prague highly as a poker destination; it’s a beautiful city and one of the few places where you can stay somewhere really fabulous for a very low price.
