As the official sponsor of this year’s WSOP, 888poker is granting all its qualifiers the chance of winning BIG in its special “Supersize ME” promotion.

If a player qualifies for the 2017 WSOP Main Event through 888poker and goes on to win the “Big One,” 888 will guarantee a $10,000,000 first-place prize – that is, make up the difference between the regular payout and whatever’s needed for a $10m payday.
Aside from 2015 winner Martin Jacobson and 2006 champion Jamie Gold no other player has achieved a eight-figure score. Joe McKeehen won $7,683,346 in 2015 and last year Qui Nguyen bagged $8,005,310.
The “Supersize ME” promotion will give qualifiers the chance to etch their name in poker history and become of the three biggest winners in 48 years of the WSOP Main Event.
Working with Main Event Travel as its main travel partner, 888poker qualifiers already get a fantastic WSOP Main Event package, worth $12,500 and including accommodation in a Deluxe Suite at the luxurious Vdara Resort on the Las Vegas Strip from July 9 – 14, plus $10,000 Main Event buy-in plus $1,200 expenses.
In 2016, 888poker sent more than 250 players including November Niners Fernando Pons and Griffin Benger, who qualified for the WSOP Main Event via €30 and €160 satellites respectively. Out of 6,737 players, Pons finished ninth for $1 million while Benger took seventh for $1,250,190.
In 2017, 888poker is hoping to break records with the number of qualifiers that head off to Vegas after winning satellites online.
